I have several packages of cream cheese, cheddar cheese, swiss, and mozzarella cheese.
I usually just add minced onion and garlic into cream cheese for a spread on ritz-type crackers or saltine crackers.
Does anyone have some good cheese spread recipes?
I thought it would be nice to try something different.

I have used a mix shredded cheddar and cream cheese. Mash it with a fork to get it well mixed. I would start with 2 parts cream cheese to one part cheddar and adjust to get the consistency you like. Add seasonings like chili powder or paprika to taste. Maybe pimentos or snipped dried tomatoes also.
For a cheese ball, form it into ball with paddle or hands & wax paper, refrigerate for some hours, then roll in dried parsley or slivered almonds just before serving.

Do you have any smoked salmon, tuna, or oysters? My favorite cheese spread has smoked anything from the sea or lake plus cream cheese, onions (or garlic), chives. Optional ingredients include horseradish, capers, red onion. Smear it on crackers or thin toast. Awesome!
