It's in the hills around the South Bay - Silicon Valley California.....
Unless you have volunteer privileges, you have to hike in and back...about 3miles round trip....
When you arrive we have a cow with calf, 5 sheep - various heritage breeds -some with lambs, 2 meat goats dur to birth in April, 1
milk goat, 2 pigs...They're getting old and arthritic, so we're borrowing piglets this year, and hand them back when they're ready for market.... We have a demonstration garden ,
chickens that roam the farm, ducks and geese....Some
rabbits and a couple of barn cats that have gotten so fat of late we're sure the public is sneaking them snacks!
We have an old blacksmith shop, old settlers cottage furnished turn of C...You look in through windows...There's an old
apple shed converted into a nature center........ A large pasture at the end of the farm has been "turned" into an Ohlone Indian Village.....wooden teepees / sweat lodge etc etc We hope to build a native herb garden in there this year.....The "old ways" are demo'd in the farm and village...Here is a link,

I love it there.....
Obviously there's a lot that does not want to be changed, as it's living history.....
We have set up a grey
water system to water the
trees in the cow pasture, and are considering how to grow some food for the animals - plant some mulberries / kale trees etc
