Im ready to start my serious RMH Ive played around with them long enough and want to make a working model I have Ianto's book to guide me and intend to follow it quite closely In his book he recommends common bricks for the building of the entire combustion unit. Im in the UK, does this mean a basic builders brick? Firebrick is very difficult to come by in my area, I have some storage heater bricks but not enough for the whole thing and think it would be easier to build if I use the same brick throughout Can anyone advise me on this please? Im building this on my own so really would appreciate some advice. Ive been wanting to tackle this project for some time, but being rather a large undertaking for one person, Im approaching it by breaking down into bite-sized pieces!
