Looking at the pic. the wall on left is exterior wall with the door just out of site, and the other is a dividing wall.
The next pic. shows the hallway leading to the garage, and to the right is the master bdrm.
The next pic. is the
wood stove in the same room opposite the couch. The exterior wall is to the right with the door just out of sight.
I first thought of putting the
rocket stove buy the door and running the duct down and to the right and doubling back and out side. (the ext. wall is 8' and the other is 9'long)
In the space next to the
wood stove is a TV. with my
wood box below, and to put the
rocket stove by the door would block the view of the TV.
(I was thinking of pulling that TV cabinet out and putting a
hot water tank, plumed into the
wood stove for pre-heated
water, going to my tankless
hot water heater, I presently use.)
Putting the rocket stove over by the hallway would make more sense, and run the duct out by the door. But would the stove look to intrusive over their? I don't know?
Anyhow the floor is concrete and wouldn't it draw the heat out of the mass without some kind of thermal break. Especially the combustion chamber, (lay some sand down then fire brick?)
