I'm on the wet coast of Canada, just north of Landon. ---- My dad came to visit from the east during a rainy November. He asked when I thought the rain might stop. I said, "probably around March or April.

Here in Seattle, we have 2 seasons: Winter and Sea Fair Weekend.

We even coined our own word for a sunny day that follows 2 rainy days: We call it "Monday".

YOU LIE DALE! Uh, I mean - JULY Dale.

I have many distinct memories of grey wet springs and having to blow on fuses over a tiny hot coal just to get my patriotic made in china explosives to blow up in my face Because its so windy and wet on July 4th.

But at least I'm not as bitter as the beer I drink
