too much water for new apple trees ?

we just planted 6 new apple trees along the back lot line
the fall off grade is 1''-1'
about 16-20'' of dirt on top of bed rock
the issue is we are in spring thaw with 338.5'' of snow this season and got over 2'' of rain last night with more on the way
my concern is will this much water kill off the transplants [local trees]
should they be pulled and replanted in a week or two or leave them
the ground is at 100% saturation [standing water]but is slowly draining

any thoughts

Hi Mike

One way of dealing with high water tables it to plant your trees on the high side or on a small mound. This will help keep them out of the worst of the water during winter.

thank you for responding.
I think we got threw the worst of it.
the snow is almost all gone and the drain ditches are starting to drop,standing water gone.
we have real good drainage just so much water at one time.
the trees are starting to open the buds

next project is the first hugle mound in between the new trees
only going 1 shovel deep due to too much run off [and it will have a drain]
normal rain storms are 1-6'' at a time every week so saving water is not needed
