I have a combination of perenial rye grass and creeping fescue. Is there something i can do to get benefit when the grass goes to seed. Are the seed heads usable ?

I typically mow the grass high in the 3-4 inch range. I have a mulching mower and alternete bagging.

The seed heads should be viable - but I've never tried it. Worth an experiment!
