We always soak our almonds and then dehydrate them before eating them. This time I may have let them soak too long. When I looked at them this morning there was mold on some of the almonds poking above the
water line. And when I went to smell the almonds (even below the water line), they smelled kinda like almond extract instead of just almonds. I rinsed them really well and threw them in the dehydrator but I'm wondering, are these salvageable in any way? Or do I need to be really sad that I wrecked so many expensive almonds?
Any advice you have is appreciated!
