I REALLY don't like this sentence. Passive-aggressive, non-apology. Hurrrumph
I read these words, beloved of caught-out politicians and famous people everywhere, right here. Nooooo!

The thread's gone, I assume deleted.  I was just venting really I suppose: I'm so used to conversations here being extra nice and respectful that I'm horrified when they're anything different. So in the end, that says pretty good things about the site!

It was the edge thread - now in the compost heap due to all the ranting backwards and forwards.  Things tend to run smoother when everyone makes the assumption that the other person wasn't really trying to annoy anyone, but sometimes slight misunderstandings turn into endless rounds of everyone trying to get the last word in and those threads aren't really contributing to the smooth running of the board any more...

If Paul's willing, and people want me to, I could try to clean the thread up a bit and put it back, but please - no hate mail from anyone who has anything removed.  I really can't deal with it.  I have real problems to deal with.

In my experience it's much more effective to "report to moderator" than to respond to questionable comments.

Maybe we can just continue the edge discussion in this thread?

This tiny ad just broke up with me.
