I think it would work if you put some layers of dry carbon material such as straw in between each bucket you add to the bin
it would absorb moisture and also allow more air into it
Abe upon further research its not a 30 degree difference required
the guy has it working with a 20 degree difference
also he uses copper wool inside his pipe to slow the air down
which may be a problem for making one ourselves
I think this is a brilliant idea
One could make a version of it yourself and use it in your vege gardens to automatically irrigate
no more watering your vege patch more time for laying in the hammock !
I appreciate all the input
Lets say you have forrests of the stuff, enough to feed all the people and animals with plenty left over and no other source of wood,
the question is, would it work?
Hello permies, i am interested in your opinions on this
I have a large prickly pear cactus which is growing out of control into places it shouldnt
rather than see it as a problem i would rather see it as a resource
i was considering making a hugelkulture bed usuing large amounts of this cactus instead of wood
Has anyone tried this or see a reason why it wouldnt work
