I’m wondering the same thing specifically for New Mexico. A couple of ideas that I’ve seen involve purchasing pre-permitted/engineered pole buildings, I found one property that had multiple buildings like that on it but they said did not require additional permitting,.
Also, we were considering Buying a property with an existing permitted home and adding “mobile” outbuildings such as shipping container homes that are still on wheels. Completely self-contained which should not require a permit. Does anyone have any thoughts on these two concepts?
