I read most of this book in 2022 during a permaculture apprenticeship in Costa Rica. I was blown away by the possibility of permaculture based ethanol production. Back in the US now, I still don't know of any success stories of people besides David Blume producing ethanol in a permaculture design system. I hope to get started doing my own experiementing here in North Carolina on a small scale. Wondering if anyone on this forum has direct experience synthesizing permaculture design with ethanol production or knows of anyone who has.
Way too late, but after being an apprentice at Rancho Mastatal for the past 3+ months I want to nominate Tim O’Hara and Robin Nunes, the founders of a truly incredible permaculture based community in rural Costa Rica.
