Hello,

I'm interested in joining a makers space ( if in fact this type of space exists ).  I'm currently concentrating on earthen oven construction ( cob ovens !! ).  I'm now leaning towards wanting to develop a wood working skill and am in a place to invest in tools and or a space/tool rental situation.  I'm currently living in the Asheville NC. area. I know there is many artist/makers here so I thought I'd give this post a try.

I'm currently building my third cob oven.  In the next few days we'll get started on the dome.  Participants will leave with a basic understanding of how to build a cob oven as well as hands on experience mixing cob with your feet and creating the ovens insulation with locally sourced natural material.

Its me Seany !! I'm seeking a work space to begin finding access to a carpentry work space for the intention to begin working on building tables and chairs for the intention to create dining tables in order to host catered gatherings here in the Asheville Area.  

I'm in Asheville. Can you please share the link to the cob work shop scheduled 2022.  I'd be interested to check it out as I'm seeking a start to finish house build cob workshop.

Hello, my name is Sean Kennedy and I am an earthen builder whom specializing in cob oven construction.  I am currently building multiple ovens in the Asheville NC area.  I'm excited to be able to take on this task and am putting the call out for folks who are interested in spending the day learning and assisting in one of these builds.  I have a workshop taking place in the Burnsville area on August 21st.  A lunch will be provided.  It will be a family event therefore kids are welcome !!
