Fried eggs for lunch to have with my buckwheat and lentil flour fried flatbread, I love my mini cast iron pan, great for cooking small and quick when I am the only one home!
Figured I'd have a healthy lunch today.
Cooked my egg in some bacon grease, wiped it clean (after the pan cooled a bit), then a little more bacon grease over it.
I used to leave the stove on low for a bit after I'm done. Sometimes I'd forget and the stove would be on for an hour LOL. I don't do that quite as often these days...
This cast iron pan isn't in perfect condition but it works great and I use it a lot. Once the egg was cooked on one side you can see it slide around easily.

Clean the pan with chain scrubber and coarse salt (totally unnecessary for this)
I cleaned out the cast-iron pan by giving the scraps to the dog, rinsing with warm water, then oiling it with olive oil.
