I brought it to a boil, reduced heat to low and covered for 20 minutes, let sit for 5 min, then enjoyed

I made Jasmine Rice with Red Lentils (protein).

2 1/4 c. Water
1 c. Jasmine Rice
1/3 c. Red Lentils

I brought everything to a boil, covered the pot, lowered the heat and simmered for 20 minutes.


Ingredients and cookware to make rice on the stovetop


Rice brought to a boil before covering and simmering for 20 minutes.


Over 2 cups of Jasmine Rice with Red Lentils.
