Hi!!

I don’t really leave my house except to go to work, and I don’t like meeting guys at work so here goes!

Right now I’m living in Arizona saving up to buy land in Washington, (halfway between Portland and Seattle) my future farm location isn’t negotiable.

I will be moving back to the PNW to start my “retirement” into farming this summer and realize I probably need a partner cuz I don’t really want to do it alone.

Here’s some about me stuff

I’m from Idaho originally.

I have 2 kids that spend a lot of time at their dads house right now but I’m looking to change that once I “retire” onto my farm.

I WILL be building a cob house in a few years, I’m planning on living in a shed or an rv or something similar in the meantime most likely.

I want to grow veggies, raise a few smaller animals, and make some crafty shit to sell at a farmers market type set up to make a little cash to get by.

I consider myself an artist

I smoke weed, drink sometimes. (Anything beyond this is the biggest deal breaker of all deal breakers for me thanks for respecting that)

I have 2 cats

I plan on dreadlocking at least half of my hair this year. Another part of my retirement.

Not vegetarian but I don’t eat a lot of meat

I’m looking for someone who has some skills, or at least the desire to try to figure everything out with me

I used to live in Washington a long time ago, but have been here in Salem Oregon for over a year now, after moving from Eugene. Ever thought of making an Eartship type home? I've seen some homes where they use old glass bottles for light diffusion that looked really cool. My favorite house I've seen was shaped like a conch shell. I've considered homesteading, but without a partner it's just a pipe dream since I'm on a fixed income. If you get some land, you'll want a river on it or some sort of cistern and a well. Also a way to irrigate the crops. I've thought about a lot of this kind of stuff over the past 4+ years now.

What a beautiful post. I really hope you find the right guy. If I was younger and living in the States ...
Buena suerte

Wish you find a companion.
I also want to open a farm, can you share the experience?

My friend said, "You know what I like? Mashed potatoes." I was like, "Dude, you gotta give me time to guess."

Hi Ramana, I'm gay but if you're looking for friends in the area feel free to contact me. Where exactly are you looking to buy land between the two cities? My area is about exactly equidistant between the two. Here's a post I made describing the county I live in:

I am looking on the east side of lewis county or Thurston county I think. That seems like the perfect general area for me. I would absolutely love to connect with you and other people who live in the area!!

Hello,
I am interested in learning more about your ideas. I have been researching and learning for years now and would love to talk and see what happens.
