I know I've read in one of the market gardener books that there is a prominent market gardener who gives his farm workers a pocket-sized time sheet that allows workers to quickly jot down what bed they worked in, what they did (plant, weed, harvest, etc.), and how long they were working there. At the end of the day they drop those tickets into a box so there can be an accurate record of how much time was spent over the course of the season working a particular crop. Does anybody know which farmer was doing this or have you set up something similar for your employees? I know it wasn't Curtis or J.M...at least I'm pretty sure it wasn't either of those two.

Hello Nate, Welcome to Permies!

I'm not sure either, but it sounds like a really good idea; even if there are no employees, having a tracking sheet like this would be good for anyone's plantings - I'm off to make my own spreadsheet!
