Take a look at this page

https://www.wildhomesteading.com/diy-rocket-oven/

Go to the bottom.   Note the three buttons that each say "purchase".  One for a physical DVD, one for HD download and one for HD streaming.  The three links are:

https://permies.com/jforum?module=paidTopic&action=buyWithPaypal&topic_id=95201&f=14
https://permies.com/jforum?module=paidTopic&action=buyWithPaypal&topic_id=92030&f=14
https://permies.com/jforum?module=paidTopic&action=buyWithPaypal&topic_id=90191&f=14

I have forked over quite a few affiliate dollars to this guy.  He's doing a great job.

These links go to the purchase links for each of these three items in the digital market.   So when the user clicks on these, they are instantly asked for their credit card info.

His "f-code" is "14" and shows up in this link as "&f=14"

95201, 92030 and 90191 are the thread ID (or product ID) for each thread that sells the item.   Go ahead pop over to

  https://permies.com/t/95201
  https://permies.com/t/92030
  https://permies.com/t/90191

And see.   Here is the purchase link for 90191:

  https://permies.com/jforum?module=paidTopic&action=buyWithPaypal&topic_id=90191

All the fancy page did was copy that link and add "&f=14" - easy peasy.

I just spotted this post - that is my website about the rocket oven dvd! I also have this one about the solar dehydrator plans: https://www.wildhomesteading.com/diy-solar-food-dehydrator/

That sales page is less complex than my rocket oven page but very similar in function. I have gotten a couple sales from people visiting that page and so far I have done very little to promote it.

As Paul said it is really easy to create affiliate links and start promoting products sold here on permies. Right now I'm focusing on the rocket oven dvd but I have plans to promote some other products too moving forward.

It is a great program and I really appreciate Paul and permies for having this option available to us all.

I have made a lot more money through the permies affiliate program than through Amazon's program.

If any of you have questions about how this all works I would be happy to help out.

We have several product pages out at richsoil.  If you add you f-code to the URL like this:

https://richsoil.com/wood-heat.jsp?f=14

you get the affiliate income for that page.

So

  https://richsoil.com/wd-gardening.jsp

would be

  https://richsoil.com/wd-gardening.jsp?f=14

(and replace "14" with whatever your f-code is)

Along those lines, we had an affiliate with a big mailing list request that for the better wood heat stuff for the video be aligned with top of the browser and video to start playing immedately.   So we made a special page.  Two other affiliates have tried it so far.  You can use it if you like:

https://richsoil.com/wood-heat-as.jsp?f=7#video

I just found out that if you send a user to richsoil for anything and add "?f=7" to the url, then any digital market purchase in the next 24 hours will count you as the affiliate seller.

It is the same for

  https://permaculture-design-course.com

So

  https://permaculture-design-course.com?f=7

will carry the f-code to the permies.com affiliate program

Surfs up space ponies, I'm making gravy without this lumpy, tiny ad:
