About me, I am just your typical Saskatchewanian small town girl. Grew up in a small town, the dominant industry was agriculture. When I was little I thought all food came from the garden.

I watched a lot if people not make money farming so I went looking for a different way. I found some stuff on permaculture, that made a ton of sense. Then I found out about Holistic Management and did an 8 month internship on a ranch. Now I am figuring out how to make a go of it on my family farm.

I am single and straight, so if any guys are interested message me. I could always use more friends too so if you are in Sask also let me know.

Hi. I am about an hour east of Regina, close to Katepwa Lake. I have a wonderful family farm here. Which I am slowly trying to make more permaculturey.

So far I have been mulching the garden for last few years. And I have chicks coming at the end of this month. They will eat the pest insects and give me fertilizer, and eggs.

I also live an hour east of Regina and looking to meet fellow Permies in my area. I have a slave wage to earn most weekdays but it'd be awesome to have a weenie roast and talk permaculture sometime.

Hi Leora, I was just curious to whether or not you have been able to meet someone on this particular singles forum? I am also residing in Saskatchewan an hour west of Regina. I have been searching for someone with the same lifestyle as yourself, though being 56, it has not been easy to find someone close to my age, especially on this site. I was wondering if you have had any luck, meeting people from Saskatchewan as well? Are you still enjoying the farm life? Anyways I hope everything is working out well for you and good luck in the future.

Hi Phillip, I have met a couple guys from this post. In particular is Rex who lives only 40 minutes away from me, we have become good friends and have worked on a few permie type projects together. I am dating someone I met elsewhere.

I am on still on the farm and enjoying my gardens and chickens.

If you are on facebook, I would suggest following the Regina seedy Saturday group. It is mostly women your age who like to garden and are often experimenting with permie techniques.

They gave me pumpkin ice cream. It was not pumpkin pie ice cream. Wiping my tongue on this tiny ad:
