Hello,

Has anyone ever seen these kind of rats?
They are about 5" long and have very short tails with tiny hairs on them that extend the entire length of the tail.
I have caught about 10 of them in the last 2 years.
I have never seen anything like these before.

Any help identifying these rodents will be appreciated.

Thanks,
kacij

Those appear to be the dead kind.  I have the live kind right now.  I wish I had the dead kind.

Seriously though, I would like to know what they are as well.  I had them coming from an adjacent field and was actually seeing them during daylight hours.
