Learn to Build your own Rocket Mass Heater from Clay and Junk
Super Efficient DIY Wood Stove
Three Day Complete Hands-On Workshop
August 23-25 2019
Marshall NC, USA

Come get muddy with us August 23-25 near Asheville, NC for a full Rocket Mass Heater build with cob thermal battery bench.

Uncle Mud Here,

This type of stove cut my Cleveland Ohio fuel bill from almost $1000 some months to less than $100 per year for wood scraps from the local flooring mill.

In this hands-on workshop we will share the know-how and confidence to build your own out of junk metal and sandy clay mud from your own back yard.

We will be constructing a complete Rocket Mass Heater with cob mass bench at the earthbag homestead of Craig Hastings . This will be an intensive workshop led by, me, Uncle Mud (a.k.a. Chris McClellan) and my fearless sidekicks including you. Learning will be hands-on so come prepared to get muddy. Participants will get to try their hands with various hand and power tools for metal cutting and cob sculpting.

We will also be demonstrating the new CottageRocket design for small spaces and workshops and greenhouses where a large cob bench isn't going to be a good idea.

Excited about both of these! I got to watch Chris' rocket stove presentation at the Asheville Mother Earth News Fair and it was packed with great info. Hope to see some of y'all at both workshops.
