I was in our local Costco with my neighbor roaming around their dry goods and saw this, this is a very good price for a versital cast iron set. It had 2 pans, one is a deep pan useful for frying or for stove stop one pan meals, the regular frying pan for frying eggs, etc can also be the lid for the deep pan.  This also gives enough height that you can bake a crusty loaf of peasant bread without having to buy a cast iron casserole.  Yes, it is the bumpy finish, but that gets smooth with time.  Both pieces are $30.  Seems a good deal to me and would also make a good gift.
