Hi All

I want to build a hugelkultur bed on my allotment but I am unsure how to orientate it to the sun and slope. looking at the plan attached would you place the beds across the slope or up and down the slope or even something else.

Cheers

Try the HK bed with swales across in front to catch and hold water. With a slight slope you should be able to go straight across.
