looking to join a homstead or off grid community

I am a Journeyman Union Carpenter ready to join an off grid community or group to put my skills to some use  living off grid is something I have always wanted to do and its why I became a carpenter in the first place  I am willing to do whatever it takes and I am a very hard worker. I absolutely love the outdoors and its where I spend all my time either at work or camping off grid somewhere  I haven't had much luck finding a group or homestead so hopefully this forum while give me the boost I need to find what I'm looking for.
