I have received three complaints about the frequency of the daily-ish email. So I'm creating this thread so those people can vent.

The last person had a big rant about how it's too much, too fast. And on that day there were 4 unsubscribes. And there were about 40 subscribes. About perfect.

This person made a very clear case: slow it down, or he will unsubscribe. I told him that I will not be his personal bitch - therefore he needs to unsubscribe now. He then wanted to point out that I appear to not care about my fan base. I told him that if he is thinking about unsubscribing, then he must not be part of my fan base - so go away. The daily-ish email is for people that like the pace.

I looked it up. Over the last 30 days I have sent out 20 emails. It seems to me that I might be falling behind a bit.

There are 3300 on the list. Gaining about 30 a day and dropping about 2 a day.

I think the rate i send stuff out is just about perfect: whenever the hell I want. Sometimes as many as three in one day, and sometimes going a week with sending nothing. Perfect.

I suspect that there are people out there that would like me to double the frequency. Twice as much stuff. If you are one of those, I would appreciate if you would say so now. That way, when somebody wants me to send less, then they can see that there actually ARE other people on the list. And some of those want THE OPPOSITE.

Bring them on!

I believe the more emails you are are producing is directly related to the number of positive actions you are taking to educate the world on "permies technology"

My vote is for more, not less...

Keep on keepin' on

Definitely not too much. It would be a different story if there was tons of ads and picture files in there, but they are simple and interesting.

I vote "Keep em Coming!"

I don't understand why people waste a couple of minutes writing you a complaint email when it takes a second to hit the delete key!

It doesn't bother me however many you do - I appreciate the effort it takes to write one.

I get a lot of email, but I use Thunderbird and they immediately are sorted into folders. Some folders auto delete after a certain amount of days - like forums. Others, never. That way, I don't have to spend anytime cleaning up my mail.

I suspect anyone who complains about to many messages when they subscribe aren't the kind of people who really should have subscribed, anyway.

I just filter them off to their own folder so they don't clog my inbox and I can read them at my lesuire works well cause when I have time to help I'm bored and looking in that folder a lot and when I am busy I don't see them
