Old fridge to Smoker

Hi All - anyone have a simple way to turn an old kero fridge into a smoker ?

fridges are so full of materials that become toxic when heated I would not attempt it unless you can remove all the plastics and rubber  parts inside an old filing cabinet will make a great smoker. make a big fire in it to burn out the paint, cut out most of the drawer bottom metal and put some wire racks in, cut a chimney hole on top and single bolt a piece of metal over it so you can control air/smoke flow
make fire in bottom with a wood that is good for smoking food..
