Hello everyone!

I am looking to buy leaves of the elderberry plant from someone in the US. I read that the leaves are nearly evergreen in mild climates so am hoping that some of you may have some leaves currently available that you would be willing to part with. I am happy to pay for them, of course; just let me how much for how much weight, plus the shipping. Feel free to post here or send me a purple moosage.
If this post is in the wrong category for this request, please just move it for me.
Thank you!

I'm not in a mild enough climate for them to be green, but if you're still looking in the springtime I can probably get some for you.

Same here! There should be plenty of leaves in a couple of months if you're still looking. Mind if I ask why elderberry leaves? What purpose do they serve? I use the berries for tea and syrup and the flowers for teas and infusions but do not know what the leaves are for.

Thank you, Elandra, thank you Gail, I will keep your names should I not be able to source any elderberry plant leaves by then.
To answer your question, Gail, the leaves are part of a tincture I am making.

Have you noticed this https://permies.com/wiki/134486/kitchen/John-Moody-Author-Elderberry-Book#1053395 thread? The author of the book might know a source for leaves & you might win a book if you post in the recommended forum for that!!!

Oh interesting! Thank you for sharing, I have never used the leaves in a tincture. I hope you get ahold of what you need but if you are still looking in the spring feel free to Moosage me :)

That's a great idea to post on that forum. I think it gets more viewers so hopefully someone replying will have the leaves on hand.

They gave me pumpkin ice cream. It was not pumpkin pie ice cream. Wiping my tongue on this tiny ad:
