forming ecovillage seeks permaculturists

Carolina Common Well is a forming ecovillage on 115 acres in the Triangle area of North Carolina about 15 minutes west of Chapel Hill. We just had a site survey along permaculture principles and seek to become an education center for permaculture. Our emphasis is on agriculture. Well I will be dammed, I never thought I would bump into some permies in my area! I live half hour away in Graham and I am finishing an engineering degree. Obviously this is my priority but I am very partial to extending my time to meet with other noble permaculturalists. What are you guys looking to gain?
