Hi All ;
Sad day the other day!  My new 7" baby dragon went down in flames!
With five days of test burning, after sudden open core surgery. It was just more than her new Skamol's could take!
After her transformation from an 8" J tube to a 7" Batch box .Her fire was burning so white hot... they could not take the heat and the Skamols failed!
From their condition it appears  temperatures far exceeded the rated capacity of (1750 F)!
Seems these batch box's really put out the heat!

Never Fear!
Like a phoenix she will rise again from the flames!
Work is in progress ... parts are steadily arriving.  Consultations with known Master builders are occurring daily.
Weekly discussions, have opened up startling revelations of cold fusion and stable black holes.
My out of country consultant has hinted at a new variation of the famous five minute riser!!! Oh My !
Details are slim... it is rumored diplomatic pouches are needed to move plans thru international borders!
Heavy steel and heavy fire brick have been spotted moving thru the north west part of the state...Could the first rocket powered interstellar transporter be coming soon?
We await word from the border of the safe transportation of mechanical drawings and detailed specifications.

Stay tuned in...
All will be revealed in time.

Fail early and fail big, Thomas!

Sorry to hear of the temporary setback, but I have full faith that you will dust off the soot and be back in action in no time.  Can’t make a cake without breaking a few eggs!

Indeed a sad day for rocket stove enthusiasts around the world. Its never easy to put down a baby dragon but a scientist has to stay strong in these hard times and move on to greener pastures.

Glad to hear a new convoy is headed your way with supplies vastly superior to the skamols (I heard a rumour that some vibranium was missing from Wakanda and was being sold on the black market - Wouldn't happen to know anything about that would you?)

Really look forward to the next chapter in your adventure and I sure hope that out of country consultant doesn't turn out to be a double agent or something for the coal industry. Shesh! Who can you trust these days!

Exactly how I feel about it.  Better in the spring than the dead of winter!
In a J tube the Skamols would rock. But the Batch just gets too hot.
2700 F non insulated brick are on site now.

Complete door redesign coming as well Mike.
Separate thread  as it develop's.

Did you know that including vibrainium in clay gives it the property's of titanium?  Temperatures in a batch could go up to and over 5000 F...
Did you also know that vibrainium is highly radioactive?   Yes long term exposure can result in becoming a super person...  hero or villain depends on your great grandmothers personal addictions...
And No I have not been to Wakanda in weeks , my visa was revoked for flying about the country without a permit or an airplane!
So how could I possibly know anything about stolen vibrainium taken 2 months ago by an unknown flying object???
Geez a guy does a little adventuring and wham suddenly your a thieving super villain...

PS;  Want your rocket to burn hot .... meet me in the ally at midnight.... I got the stuff!

Hi All ;
It's past the summer solstice and I am still awaiting the new revolutionary information about risers, from my world traveling consultant..
I did received a cryptic message from a monk deep in the Canadian wilderness, giving me information about 4 wheeler's in the Arizona desert???
Will I need to brave Covid 19 and travel south to seek out & learn new information?
Will I become enlightened if I do??? Only time will tell!

Until then....
My new firebricks are here and I have refractory cement on hand. Even without the information from my consultant I must move forward.
Days are getting shorter already, frosty mornings are not that far off. Soon the elk will be bugling!

Never underestimate your Dragon. They have very sensitive feelings!
I'm have fears that mine, feeling neglected could have mentally assaulted Liz !!!  Causing the fire in her studio.
Dragons are known for burning things to the ground.
I've started laying new bricks...  shortly after starting you could feel the tension leave the shop.
It seems, that if you give a Dragon the attention that she thinks she deserves... she can Purr!

Soon like a phoenix, Shop Dragon will rise from the ashes !

I have heard folk tales told around campfires about such a monk you mentioned who after much contemplation and meditation, had finally learned the secrets of how to harness the raw power and agility of such a beast to help mankind overcome global warming, pollution, sickness and poverty. Perhaps Liz has somehow defiled the Dragon God in some way that unleashed a spurt of its might?
Glad to hear though that you are learning what it takes to keep it appeased.

Looking forward to having your dragon back in one piece again.
