Been wondering about herbs that would be helpful in supporting recovery/soothing symptoms of gluten exposure for those of us with either celiac or non-celiac gluten sensitivity. Demulcents, like mallow, perhaps? A GI-active anti inflammatory like plantain? What think you, gentle people?
Turmeric and ginger are the herbs you will want to use. A tea made from either of them will help.
I use a quality ginger ale. I keep it in the fridge for when I need it. It might lose it fizz but is still helpful.
The are recipes for a ginger bug or ginger beer that also will help.

Depends on the symptoms. Ginger as a general help. I also use fennel seeds for bloating. Marshmallow root or slippery elm for burning sensations. An oatstraw lemon balm infusion (steeping 4+ hours) for spasms, a tense stomach, and to increase fluids to help move things along.
(Reminder to myself) God didn't say, "well said, well planned, and well thought out." He said, "well done."
