Usually we fix our steaks and pork chops on the grill.  I like my steaks with a mushroom and butter sauce.

Until I started looking at steak sauce recipes, I never realized there were so many different ways to make steak sauce.

The basic ingredients are really varied from wine, mayonnaise, mustard, and tomato sauce.

Then there are mushrooms, pesto, onions, garlic, etc.

Are the same sauces good for both beef steaks and pork chops?

Do you have a favorite steak sauce recipe?  What kind of steak sauce do you like?

This post deserves a reply. Of course the term recipe is pretty questionable, but everytime I put this together it is different.  Just about everything I cook involves  onions.  So saute onions.  A couple of cups of ketchup .  I sometimes add some BBQ sauce.  Mustard. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE, hot sauce ( I like Tennessee Sunshine),  CHARDONNAY.

We marinate the steak in Guinness. Once the steaks are removed the beer is cooked down with onions, garlic, mushrooms and literally whatever we have that would work.
On my planet I'm considered quite beautiful. Thanks to the poetry in this tiny ad:
