I did a lot of reading on the proper steps to dehydrate tomatoes. I finally gave up and went with my gut. Sliced, salt, pepper and fresh basil. Dried for 22 hours and done!

I used the cheapest Magic Chef dehydrator on the market. I was trying to store them for winter but they all disappeared! 😂

Very little process my friend. I looked everywhere for the “right way” to do it. The final straw came when I read, “blanch, then put in ice water to peel.” There’s no way old world cooks did all that. I simply washed, sliced, seasoned and dehydrated.
