I liked it. I immediately thought the band must be from the 80's. They have an 80's sound.

Not from the 80's but with a bit of that sound. Mother Mother.
This song, O My Heart. always gets me singing along and making up new lyrics.

I love anti-war songs. This 54-40 song starts out really slow but at about 36 sec. it gets a bit faster. I LOVE the lyrics!!!

Thanks. I love that song, Rion.

More anti-war message music. Come and check your head by Blue King Brown.

Bomb the World by Michael Franti.

Uncle Sam Gawd Damn by Brother Ali. Great song lyrics!

Finally, Makeshift Patriot by Sage Francis.

And I loved Lily Allen's F*uck You Very Much.

The music is "Freedom Fighters" by Two Steps From Hell. And the video is just awe-inspiring. This is where we all live! Isn't it beautiful?

yep, hes cool. a truly original free spirited guy =)
some of his stuff is just too weird, but he has different styles. some of it is really good =)

and even though hes so unique -he reminds me of bonnie prince billy. also kinda odd one =)
oo looks up some bonnie prince billy.

that and he also somewhat reminds me of syd barret. he even kinda has a similar look.

This artist is just amazing in my books.
He's an Iranian living in Oslo, Norway. His name is Javid Afsari Rad. I first heard him on myspace.
It's so beautiful about 1 minute into the video.

Years ago I would spend evenings sketching out on the porch that faced the Gulf. Townes and Lyle hold a special place for me because they always take me back to Texas.
