Permies in Andalucia, Spain

Hey there,

I'm doing a sort of apprenticeship in Malaga, Spain and though I have a good teacher and interesting projects, I would like to expand my network and meet more like-minded people.

The thing is my teacher and all our customers are, unfortunately for me, deep into conspiracies and unscientific stuff. This is not who I am and it is sometimes hard to talk about or deal with some topics. They are slowly making me lose faith in finding like-minded people in the permaculture world.

Therefore if you are around here, you have a scientific approach to permaculture and you are not a conspiracy follower please get in touch!

Jorge, welcome to Permies! I think you will find a welcoming community here. You will find permaculture discussed here from a scientific approach and also from an empirical approach. Most of the discussions I've seen address applied permaculture rather than the theory of permaculture. Conspiracy theory, politics, religion, and other hot button topics are only allowed in "The Cider Press," so I think you'll feel comfortable in our many forums. It's a great place to expand your network!

I'm into conspiracies, but if someone tells me they dont want to hear about them i do shut up.

Hi,

I live in Malaga City. We run a public food garden in the Virreina neighbourhood (north of Palmilla), and we are moving the old agroecological practices towards permaculture. Many of our fellows are into consipiracies too, as you put it, or magical thinking (which is not the same as thinking like a mage). But not me! :D
Anyways, they are all nice people.
