I got 25 lbs of 90/10 ground beef sirloin yesterday for $25 because they were labled at .99 a pound instead of 4.99 like it usually is. I was going to get a 75/25 tube for $2.80 until I saw these. [I have a George foreman grill so fat content just means less meat.] Moral of the story is to always check your labels!

When I take a grocery trip I usually go alone because I will take 2 hours to get 10 things, but in doing this I have never spent full price on a grocery trip. Im not one of those extreme couponers, but I will check different store prices and jot them down on my excell sheet to see which store is more beneficial to go to for this grocery trip. Ive saved as little as $5 between stores and as much as $50 on a big trip.

To get groceries I use my 2001 honda rebel 250 with a platform mounted on the rear for cargo. It gets 80mpg when running on gas and parks right up front!

One time a freind of mine brought me a set of knives - Solginen steel - nice cutlery set . He thought it was a great deal at $29.99 and bought two. We went back to that store a week later and they were priced at $129.99. Some poor schlub with a pricing gun probably lost his job that week.

If you like strawberry rhubarb pie, try blueberry rhubarb (bluebarb) pie. And try this tiny ad:
