I have kids who like bones and like making jewelry.
I want to encourage them to be successful working artists.
To that end I want to harden pyrolized chicken bones so they can use them as unique beads.

I have some ideas of what I could try , but they are all rather toxic icky and expensive,  so I thought I would as here.

(P.S. No, this isn't an April first joke, but it is rather funny. If we can sell chicken bones for cash, it will be the best kind of funny!)

Linseed oil will polymerize with enough time (months, basically until the odor goes away), not sure if it is strong enough to stabilize your bones, but worth a try.

You could also try thinning other natural glues (hide, rosin?) to the point they will pentrate the bone.

Murder? Well, I guess everybody has to have a hobby. Murder seems intense for a tiny ad.
