I have had a question rolling around in my head for a long time but not sure if I am even asking it correctly.
Q: is there a way of growing certain plants from (I think it’s called a cutting) of an originating plant?

I hope I am asking this correctly because I am very curious about this.

Excellent question, and you did use the correct terms. Here is an article describing the different stages of growth cuttings can be successful in. If the plant you have in mind is not in the article, someone here may know what method to use.

Not all plants will work though.
