Hi,

I live in southern England, and so have grown up amongst damp, green forests. I feel most at home among these trees. So much so that l plan to one day buy some forest land somewhere in the UK or Northern Europe. There I would like to build myself a timber framed farmstead, to live off the land and in harmony with nature.

My passions are nature conservation and archaeology. I love making things inspired by archaeology such as carving wooden bowls or sewing leather moccasins/shoes. I am also interested in ancient land stewardship practices like coppicing and meadow regeneration. I studied conservation at university and I am currently working as a shipwright on a project to reconstruct an Anglo-Saxon longship.

Building a forest farmstead could unite these two passions. I dream of regenerating forest and meadow land, keeping animals, growing crops, and practicing crafts inspired by archaeology like blacksmithing, woodcarving and traditional building.

I am looking for a woman with a similar outlook, so that we can share our ideas, experiences and passions and create a dream together.

If this resonates with you, or you’d just like to talk about permaculture things, send me a message. I’d love to hear from you.

Alec

Hi Alec!
I'm a bit too old to be your lover but I have been trying to figure out how to find a partner to buy land in rural Italy or Spain. I am 40, female and have British citizenship. I am presently in northern California. I am a chef and pastry  chef and want to start an off grid homestead/small organic farm/artisan bakery. I want to buy rural land in the north with stone ruins to use to build a natural building/cave house.
Maybe somehow we  could be useful to eachother?
I can send you a picture on my email.......reeniephippie@hotmail.com
Cheers!Check
P.S. I lived near Bath, on an organic farm for a year. Also in the Scottish Highlands for a year. My mom was British.

I wouldn't let an insignificant number of years stand in the way of possible destiny.
