Wondering if anybody has been successful growing Leucana or Guaje (MX) anywhere in the US, it likes pretty hot weather, a small shrubby bean tree with fodder potential. Thanks. M
I have seen David the Good mention that tree, Leucana so I assume he has some experience with it. I believe he is in Florida.

Yes. I'm on the central coast of California and have grown my small trees for 15+ years as nitrogen nurse trees in my small orchard.
Never ate them until the other day when some folks came by to buy something from me and spotted the trees and asked if they could collect the young pods and asked if I ever ate them .
They gathered bags of the pods and I had my first taste of the young bean-like seeds...
