34 years old female
5'7"
Curvy, strong

Cast iron is my preferred cooking vessel, decent at gardening, good cook, novice at wild plant identification but interested. I consider myself a future homesteader with good potential. I can split wood, use some tools, I'm very strong and capable but still learning every day. Interested in canning food for preservation but prefer fresh food for health benefits. Value the ideas of the Weston a price foundation but I am not strict about eating that way. Interested in being sovereign but have not made the jump yet. I like making my own chicken food. I'm good at growing things but every area has its difficulties. In northern AZ tomatoes were very difficult with volcanic soil and yearly hail. Here in socal the earwigs are hard on any seedlings but after that stage things are okay! I make and drink kombucha and it took me a long time to get there haha. Love raw milk and yogurt!

I have two kids so far. 3.5 yrs and 3.5 months. First kid with an ex, second with sperm donor. I feel called to have more children, with or without future partner. I'm not religious, somewhat spiritual. The hardest part about being a mom has been my own emotional work I have done to be the mom I want to be. No one tells you how hard that part will be. Unloading generational trauma in order to not pass it on further is tough but important. I'm raising my kids to be intentional, conscious and kind. My kids will be unschooled, unvaxed, and wild. I will not raise complaisant sheep. Ideally I'd like to really limit screen time and focus on living outdoors but I will admit I have used screens more than I prefer.

Both children were born at home with a traditional midwife in attendance. I am not open to medical "help" in pregnancy or birth unless I deem necessary. I would consider myself on the "radical" end of birth. I have full control, full autonomy, full power. I have a plethora of knowledge in natural childbirth.

I don't shave the hair on my body unless I occasionally feel like I want to. This includes legs, armpit and vulva. I don't typically subscribe to standard beauty practices. I don't wear make up.

I am neither liberal or republican, maybe more close to a libertarian but I'm not sure about any of that. I'd say I'm a hippie that likes guns and wants to hunt or raise their own meat in a sustainable manner.

My ex was a narcissist alcoholic so I'm wary of anyone who drinks more than a few beverages a week. I'm aware of my own codependent tendencies and am working on that along with other things to become as emotionally intelligent as I can be. I know no one is perfect but I am hoping for a partner who kind of gets it. I'm open to a partner with occasional weed use but I'm not interested in it anymore.

Currently living in SoCal, not interested in staying here... At all. Lived in AZ 12 years and loved it. Looking to stay west coast or so but not close minded to other areas. Currently live with my parents temporarily and would like to not be on the other side of the country so the kids could have a closer relationship with them.

Would like to find a nice place I can homestead and make a side living at the same time. I have experience in the wedding industry and would like to set up an area to do a wedding venue to rent out to provide addition income to the homestead.

I'm semi artsy, semi handy, semi birthy, I kinda feel like a Jill of all trades where I kinda know a little about a lot of things related to nature and homesteading.

Separately I like backpacking and camping but realize if I homestead then those things won't happen a lot and that's okay too. Day hiking trips are nice too.

As a person I'm kind, extremely patient, cuss sometimes, always keeping busy, fun and silly. I like house projects like canning, gardening, making playdough or bread or doing art projects with the kiddos. My faults that I'm working on include being passive, passive aggressive, being too blunt, being too demanding vs asking nicely, being codependent. Sometimes I talk too loudly, sometimes I shut down and won't talk when I'm uncomfortable.

What I'm looking for: mainly someone who is nice! Not an alcoholic. Someone who will appreciate me raising my children in a gentile and attachment parenting manner. Prefer someone that has self sustainability skills and/or skills with tools but not necessary. No preference on gender, race or age. Open to couples. Looking for a partner (s) in life. I work really hard and always keep busy with a healthy amount of down time. I'd like someone to pull their weight with the work load but also appreciate life and relaxation. I guess it's a balance. I don't need one or another person to be the financial earner in a relationship I just need everyone involved working towards the common goals. It was a big issue in my last relationship so it's of great importance to me going forward. I have definitely lived and learned what I want. I've also learned what I'm good at, what I provide and contribute.

I feel like what I'm looking for might be a really tall order but I figured it's worth a shot putting out there.

Let's chat! I'm open to a lot so put it out there and let's connect!

Very complete statement.

The following is a complement:

You seem to have a thinking mind, separate from your body, congratulations.

It is a pleasure to observe your obstacles and the clearing of each as listed in your story.

Impressive and attractive.

Thank you for the unique compliments. I like the way you write. I tried to write a bunch to see what happens, I feel like my odds of finding a good match are higher but we will see!
