Hello, we are a small family of 3 for now. We have been searching for land at minimum perhaps 10 acres up to ?, depends on the price. Husband is qualified in phases of engineering/construction and farming. We have plans to develop as sustainable living area by which to basically support our family and eventual those who want to come on board. We have plans to put at least 1 Yurt, full size tee pee, fuselage, caboose, mud/straw house and perhaps an earthship. Want land with either a stream or small river or pond with rights on it and land that is fertile to basically plant everywhere we can - fruit trees, shrubs, veggies, herbs and all forms of medicinal plants. As far as livestock, chickens, goats, alpaca, ostrich ... Any help in locating land would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

It seems to me this posts also fits under the "real estate" sub-forum..https://permies.com/f/163/real-estatewebpage.so may be look there at past posts.

Sounds like a dream piece of land!! All the work you describe will definitely be easier with "more hands".

If you can drive around and ask around at farm markets or other places where 'Locals' congregate...may be even a place of worship or supermarket.

I'm sure glad that he's gone. Now I can read this tiny ad in peace!
