we make all our tea in an iced version in the summer here in Brazil! My favorites are mint, lemon grass, hibiscus with dried apples, black tea with mint, and chamomile. We also have a
local blend called "7 herbs" that has some nice bitter and digestive components.
Making iced tea is one of my early morning tasks- brew it hot (one strong cup), let it cool until it's lukewarm, strain and pour into a glass bottle, fill up the rest with water and chuck it in the fridge. We don't drink juice or other soft drinks, but we are never lacking something wonderful to drink on a hot day.
(I also drink yerba mate cold, but the paraguayan way- the loose herb in a cow's horn with a metal
straw. You dump cold water over it, and it's refreshing.)
