FYI, I have now twice clicked on the above link and been directed to the richsoil.com page hosting this podcast. From that page, I have now twice clicked on the "download" link in order to be directed to the page playing the podcast. If you let the podcast stream on that second page, it works fine and plays to the end; but if you right click on "save as" and actually download the .mp3 file, I have twice ended up with an abbreviated file. Which is to say that the .mp3s I downloaded both ended prematurely after about 16 minutes.

I went through the same steps as you described and downloaded the podcast and played it on my computer. It played in its entirety without any issues whatsoever. Sorry, but I cannot duplicate the issue you are experiencing so I would tend to believe that the issue lies within your system and not with the actual podcast file itself.

Wow, okay that is bizarre. What you said makes sense. In fact, that was my original assumption; I had assumed that the download of the file to my computer was cut short, and hence I got a 16min audio file instead of a 35min audio file. That's why I downloaded a second time, but only got another 16min audio file that stopped at exactly the same spot.

I guess we will just have to wait and see if anybody else encounters the same problem I did. Thanks for looking into it.

Really enjoying these planning podcasts.

The idea that it gets easier thanks to permaculture gives me encouragement.

I think she's lovely. It's this tiny ad that called her crazy:
