I've finished laying the foundation for a low garden bed around the north side of our house. It gets some sun in the summer and not much in the cooler months.

Hoping to get some perennial medicinal herbs established in there, but I want to make sure that whatever I put there will tolerate the shade. It's regular garden soil and tends to stay on the moist side.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Schisandra chinensis 'Eastern Prince' is suppose to handle the shade pretty well. It is an excellent herb.
