Hello! All of my family and I are huge fans of Lord Of The Rings. So I decided to name our property after middle earth its self! right by our mailbox so that everyone in this community can clearly see that Lord Of The Rings fans live here!

Welcome John! Your corner of Middle Earth looks pretty nice. When I was in college I lived in a house baptized the Shire by some old LOTR fans. Was a dining hall called Oakenshield's as well. Fun times!

Awesome signs! I wish I could see them a little better. Could you post a little bit higher resolution photos so we could see the details? Usually 400 to 800px is a good size for most things.

I'm a big LOTR fan as well, I suspect paul wheaton might be as well, considering his fixation on round doors and here and hobbit homes! Another poster on the forum has been working on his hobbit home as well.

There's a Permaculture Experience according to Paul (PEP) Badge Bit (BB) for making a wood-burned sign in the Dimensional Lumber Badge and a Brand a Location BB in the Community Badge. Have you considered submitting these? You might need to modify them a little bit to meet the requirements.

Cheers and enjoy life in the... 4th age? Of Middle Earth
