Thought washing them made them spoil a LOT quicker?

Yeah that's true, but we sell them so have to meet certain aesthetic standards. Eggs will still last more than a month when washed.

Clever... and fun to build with kids too, i bet. How tough would it be to run the pvc through the side of the bucket, say about an inch and a half from the bottom? That way the pipe isn't in the way of the basket. There should be a way to make that seal water tight on a bucket right? I know nothing about plumbing so...

maybe somebody could find some way to make this thing run off bike power instead of the compressor.
