as im sure you are aware, one can elect to recieve emails when a thread they are subscribed to is resonded to, i have done so but i'd like to bring it to your attention that the last 2 days the emails have not included any content, but simply the subject line, though this is enough to help me find the thread via a search it is obvoiusly not the intended format for n email, i have not seen any ocntent whatsoever to the emails the last 2 days, and thought you, the permies staff (or whatever you call yourselfs) might like to know, perhaps its just me but perhaps its happening to others as well?

I had a different problem. Gmail decided all of my permies thread reply notices were spam. Argh! If you're a gmail user, check your spam folder. (I know this won't fix the missing link as Devon described, but just something else to look for if you use gmail.)

I think it may have turned out that both problems are related. Apparently, somebody made a handy tool on their website and their website is hosted on the same server as permies. Spammers found the tool and went nuts - thus making everything at that IP be labeled as "stinky". The host is excellent - and popped in and fixed everything, including setting us up with a new IP.

The problem should now be fixed. Is everybody seeing everything okay now?

Seems ok to me now. When I saw the permies stuff in my Spam folder I got worried that permies had been hacked or something. Worse yet (for me) I thought my gmail was hacked. Glad to hear it's all good in the hood. Great work guys and gals
