My husband and I are very interested in farming and hope to have our own someday. Right now we are looking
for an internship this coming May or June after he graduates with his AA in sustainable agriculture.
My husband currently works for an organic farm. I do not have as much experience but am just as
interested in learning and love to grow a garden.

We are hard workers, responsible, and are interested in learning a new way of life.

Welcome to the forums, I hope you find a farm to intern on.
It might also be possible for you guys to lease an acre or two.
You can then practice winter covercrops, water infiltration with 3ft daikon radishes.
Figure out how to be profitable in Year 1 with a just a few lbs of seed per acre (15 pounds per acre)

So in theory you could lease for $500+$200 in seed+$300 in preparing the land and produce over 2,000lbs of vegetable/fruits. Or not either way it would be a cool learning experience.
