That's all well and good, but I think our hens were paying attention to the headlines and they all stopped laying earlier this month. Solidarity? Anyway, I'm glad we preserved a couple hundred in lime water during the spring glut....

[UPDATE] They're laying again! Well, at least two of them are. That was nearly a three-week hiatus.

I’ve been charging $8.00 for 2 years now for my organic eggs.  I’m afraid it has to go up again. The price of organic grain is terrible!
