I have been fascinated with "Kernza" and the possibilities of what a
perennial wheat could offer. I located thynopyrum intermedium from Great Basin Seeds and will try a run this season in two areas. A small 100x100 plot and an area of erosion along a creek bed. I see it offered as a landscape planting so I guess I'll try potting some up in the
greenhouse as a possible revenue generator. Great Basin also has secale cereale, A Siberian rye. I believe
Sepp's rye is secale multicaule a variety of secale cereale.
